About the Role:
As a Technical Director, you will assist with the oversight of the department responsible for all mechanical & electrical operations, maintenance, communications, energy management, and workforce development programs for a portfolio of buildings on the Syngenta contract. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function.
This is an opportunity to standardise through dedicated ownership of technical standards and strengthening our technical service delivery.
What You'll Do:
1. The role will provide global technical leadership and strengthen our technical services delivery, to support GFM & Syngenta Business Unit requirements on the following priority areas:

1. CMMS & Asset Management Platform
2. Asset Management Review Forums
3. Maintenance Strategy Review & Development
4. Asset Management Standards & Procedures
3. Improve risk management by delivering:
1. Global Risk Management Process
2. Operational Risk Review & Mitigation Planning
3. Technical Incident Response Management & Support
4. Alignment with Sustenance & Asset Management Processes
4. Quality capital investment strategies with the delivery of:
1. Annual Sustenance Planning Submissions
2. In-Year Capital Investment Planning
3. Alignment with Risk & Asset Management Processes
5. Improve operational performance and compliance by providing:
1. Technical Compliance Registers
2. Technical Competency Verification
3. Data Analytics, Reporting & Insights
4. Technical Delivery Standard
What You'll Need:
* Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
* Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
* Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
