The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has opened for a proactive and knowledgeable Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a modern, well-equipped practice in Portsmouth. Key Responsibilities
Provide excellent clinical care and support across a range of routine and specialised veterinary services, including patient admissions, monitoring, and discharge.
Work collaboratively within the veterinary team, assisting with procedures, consultations, and surgeries.
Communicate effectively with clients to ensure they fully understand their pets' health, treatments, and care plans.
Maintain high standards of nursing care through ongoing professional development and active participation in the practice's CPD programme.
Support and mentor junior team members and student nurses, fostering a positive and inclusive working environment.
Participate in the duty rota, which includes 3 x 8-hour days and 1 in 4 weekends, with duty nights included.
Requirements
Registered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS) with a passion for delivering compassionate and high-quality care.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues.
A team-oriented approach, with a willingness to assist others and contribute positively to the practice culture.
Commitment to professional development and a keen interest in continuous learning.
