Duties & Responsibilities:
* Dealing with multiple drivers.
* Communicating with ports.
* Booking delivery slots for entry in ports.
* Using a Transport system called TOPS for recording drivers' start and finish times.
* Chasing drivers for ETAs and ensuring they are on time.
* Rerouting jobs as needed.
* Checking all PODS are matched up with the correct jobs on the system.
* Speaking to customers about possible delays.
We are looking for candidates to apply who have the following:
* Previous experience as a Transport Operator – Essential.
* Confident and clear communicator – written and verbal.
* Must be happy to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
* Excellent UK geographical knowledge.
* Ability to work on own initiative.
* Quick and efficient problem-solving skills.
* Organised at all times.
* Flexibility to meet the demands of the business.
