Chester Race Company are recruiting Betting Operators / Gaming Team Members for the 2025 race season at Chester racecourse! Race days are truly something spectacular to be a part of, not only are they set in a stunning location, but they are fast paced, fun and rewarding. With full training provided you will quickly become an expert in delivering a world class level of guest experience as part of the Chester BET team.

General Responsibilities Include:
* Providing a world class level of service
* Taking bets and processing through our touch screen till system (Training is provided!)
* Processing cash and card payments
* Acting as a first point of contact for general enquiries
The successful Betting Operator / Gaming Team Member will have the following:
* A friendly, approachable, and professional manner
* Strong guest experience skills
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
* Enthusiasm for learning new skills
* Excellent written and verbal English
* Numerical skills (required for taking cash and card payments)
As a requirement of the role, you will receive full training on our bespoke touch screen tills, and you will always work in a supervised environment. No prior experience of betting is necessary.
Our Rates Of Pay (inclusive Of Holiday Pay): £14.03 per hour
Shift Availability: Our shifts vary! You are in control of the hours you work via our staff app. Shifts will be predominately evenings and weekends.
