Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Team Member to join our facility management team in London, United Kingdom. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our premises, contributing to a safe and comfortable environment for our staff and visitors.
* Perform routine inspections of building structures, equipment, and assets to identify maintenance needs
* Undertake various general maintenance tasks, including painting, minor repairs, and basic plumbing and electrical work
* Conduct preventive maintenance on heating, air conditioning, and distribution systems
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, prioritizing tasks effectively
* Coordinate with and supervise external contractors to ensure work is completed according to service agreements and procedures
* Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment status
* Implement and adhere to safety protocols, including fire safety regulations and emergency procedures
* Contribute to the organization's environmental initiatives by promoting energy conservation and proper waste management
* Assist in managing inventory and reporting stock levels of maintenance supplies
Qualifications
* Experience is similar role is preferred
* Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Comfortable working at heights and in various environmental conditions
* Good problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively in addressing maintenance challenges
* Strong time management and organizational skills
