About the role: Art Technician Activate Learning have an exciting opportunity for an Art Technician to join our well-established Creative Industries team based at Bracknell and Wokingham College. You will be responsible for providing technical support for our art and photography workshops and studios which will include ensuring the teachers and our learners fully equipped in preparation for their lessons and making sure the environment is clean, safe and well stocked in-line with Health and Safety requirements. In addition, you will be required to support the teacher in the delivery of all teaching programmes and be present during the lessons to offer additional support learners if required. This is a part time post working 22 hours per week during term time (0.50 FTE) with an expectation to be flexible in terms of working hours since they be required link into the needs of the department. What do you need to be successful as an Art Technician at Activate Learning? You will have knowledge of appropriate Health and Safety standards and ideally have a relevant qualification or vocational experience within the subject area. In addition, you will need to have a flexible approach, coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. You will demonstrate the ability to engage and develop students and role model the attributes that we develop within our learners.
