We support adults in various settings such as residential, nursing, support and clinical facilities with daily tasks such as personal cares, companionship, and other complex needs. As a Support Worker, your primary responsibility is to aid and support individuals dealing with learning differences and complex mental health conditions. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to promote the well-being, independence, and recovery of clients. This role requires empathy, patience, and a commitment to helping individuals navigate the complexities of mental health issues.

The Key Responsibilities of the job role:
1. Provide one-to-one support and supervision to individuals.
2. Aid all service users in need of assistance.
3. Promote independence to residents with day-to-day decisions (clothing, bathing, choices of food, etc).
4. Work collaboratively with other staff members and professionals.
5. Maintain accurate records and documentation of interventions and outcomes.
6. Provide emotional support and practical assistance to individuals to help them achieve their goals and aspirations.
7. Work closely in a holistic approach to care.
8. Establish trusting relationships with clients and their families.
9. Advocate for clients' needs and rights within the community and healthcare system.
10. Respond to crisis situations and provide immediate support to individuals in distress.
11. Implement crisis intervention techniques and de-escalation strategies.
12. Coordinate with emergency services when required.
13. Support clients in engaging with community resources and activities (cinema, appointments, etc).
