We are currently looking for an IT Business Partner
Responsible for the development of excellent service delivery and end to end IT service relationships across the business. To focus on implementing technology and continuous improvement that will change the way we work at MM Flowers.
The role requires someone who has a passion for customer focus, alongside excellent service delivery with the (internal & external) customer at the centre of all decisions. Strong stakeholder management, organisational and analytical skills are required within this role. A key part of the role is to build exceptional relationships with internal stakeholders and third parties.
The role will require you to work with all areas of IT and the business from a process and technical perspective. You will be a key driver in improving our ITIL processes along with work closely with project teams to deliver new services and systems to enhance our ways of working.
The role will have a focus on business systems and working as a conduit between business users, the systems team, 3rd party vendors to deliver and improve our critical business applications.
Daily Responsibilities
* Establish & maintain successful relationships with internal and 3rd Party Key stakeholders, ensure excellent IT performance and capture business feedback.
* Manage regular service reviews with key stakeholders, influence at a senior level and make recommendations to drive process improvements.
* Challenge the status quo and enable critical decisions using industry best practice.
* Own complex problems, shape high-level designs and deliver solutions as part of the process and stage gate review. Collaborate with technical resources if a detailed design is required.
* To be the escalation point as the Subject Matter Expert – SME, and provide facilitation to customers during major incidents and other high priority issues
* Contribute to and help facilitate the successful delivery of small projects.
* Ensure regular and suitable communications are maintained with the business
* Review IT incidents and assist the service desk with managing and prioritising incidents and improving problem management.
* Ensure that systems, processes and methodologies as specified are followed, to enable effective monitoring, control and support of standard service delivery ITIL framework.
* Promote and monitor service introduction & service transition quality, ensuring they are fit for purpose and fit for use within operational service.
* Manages Change Control and enhancement tracking and reporting across business systems
* Proactively seeks and engages SME, champions and end users for meetings / training sessions, UAT
* Work closely with IT Leadership team and IT technical teams & be the ‘Champion’ for your customer working towards delivering a range of value-add services for our customer base.
* This role will be a Member of Out of Hours on call support rota, to provide facilitation during Business-Critical issues
