Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, the role of Site Manager is a varied, complex and rewarding position that requires an experienced Site Manager to be responsible for all Operations on site. The role of Site Manager will have full responsibility for:
* Leading and managing all Tarmac and contractor personnel working on site, with safety as the key priority
* Maintaining site maintenance systems to ensure maximum productivity
* Maintaining stocks to a high level
* Developing plans to reduce waste
* Maintaining site Profit and Loss within budget and forecast monthly spend
* Project management of projects within the quarry within agreed timescales and budget
* Applying all relevant Environmental legislation - EMS, EMAS and any additional requirements under PPC
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant HSE legislation and maintain the site health and safety documents ensuring that all inspections/calibrations/audits are kept up to date and actioned
* Ensuring that all work undertaken on site is planned and Managed Safely
* Ensuring that all accidents and incidents are reported, and fully investigated and corrective action taken as necessary
* Developing training plans for all site employees

* SHE NVQ level 4 in Health and Safety
* Minerals Extractive foundation degree
* IOSH Managing Safely
* Wamitab or working towards
* Lean Six Sigma Green belt or working towards
