Our new Van Driver will be working on a Full Time, temporary 3 month basis, on a contract of 35 hours per week, earning a salary of £24,242.40 per annum, based out of our store in Crawley. About DEBRA We are a national charity that supports individuals and families affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) – a painful genetic skin blistering condition which, in the worst cases, can be fatal. What we’re looking for in our Van Driver: A full, clean driving licence A presentable appearance Must be physically fit Personable and friendly Your Key Responsibilities as a Van Driver are: To always act as a representative of DEBRA. To ensure that the delivery/collection and distribution system runs smoothly and professionally. To ensure the smooth collection / delivery of goods from/to the public on behalf of DEBRA. To always keep the DEBRA van clean and tidy. Maintain proper records of all deliveries / collections. Inspect the vehicle regularly and report any faults etc. to the Area Manager. Ensure the vehicle is serviced at regular intervals. Ensure vehicle is properly loaded getting maximum use from the available space and adhering to weight specifications of supplied vehicle. DEBRA reserves the right to vary these duties from time to time in accordance with the changing operational needs of DEBRA.
