This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer who is confident working independently and carrying out both routine servicing and quoted works. Main Responsibilities: Test, service and maintain a range of fire safety systems, including: • Fire alarm systems • Emergency lighting • Fire extinguishers Complete remedial and quoted works to a high standard Ensure all work is fully compliant with current fire safety regulations Communicate clearly with clients, delivering excellent customer service on-site Accurately complete digital job reports, including asset registers and test results Liaise with internal helpdesk and management team to report on progress or issues Essential Requirements: Proven experience in a fire engineering or fire safety maintenance role Confidence in identifying and carrying out quoted works (repairs, replacements, upgrades) In-depth knowledge of BS 5839, BS 5266 and related fire safety standards Full clean UK driving licence Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work alone or as part of a team High attention to detail and a professional approach on client sites Desirable Qualifications (Non-Mandatory): FIA units (or equivalent) in Fire Alarm Maintenance, Design, and Emergency Lighting Electrical or Fire & Security background (advantageous but not essential) Familiarity with digital reporting systems or CAFM platforms What’s In It For You?
