Northlands Wood Primary Academy Teaching Assistant Vacancy Sussex Learning Trust Grade C (£24,027- £24,404 pro rata) 5 days a week – term time only Fixed term for one term Actual Starting Salary for 5 days a week: £17,014 A vacancy has arisen for a one to one TA within our lovely school, starting in in April, which will be for 5 days a week, fixed term initially until the end of the Summer term. Our TAs support the learning of all children, including those with SEN. The successful candidate should be comfortable working with children from 4-11 and have the necessary subject knowledge to support children with reading, writing and maths up to the level required from Foundation Stage to Key Stage 2. Usually this will be a minimum of a GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English. They should have experience working with children in a school setting. A relevant qualification is desirable. The successful candidate should be willing to undertake any necessary training to enable them to carry out their role effectively and a First Aid/Paediatric First Aid qualification is desirable.
