Title : Planning Engineer
Location : Middlesborough (Hybrid - 2 days office based)
Salary: £70,000 + car allowance + package
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Planning Engineer to join a leading main contractor on a major multi-billion-pound framework offering long-term secure work.
The Planning Engineer will join an established team that are responsible for delivering a large portfolio of projects nationally for their client Network Rail.
The Planning Engineer will be a key member of the framework team. Reporting into the Planning Manager they will be responsible for providing planning expertise, supporting the Project Managers and Programme Managers.

Duties
* Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules in accordance with contractual requirements.
* Monitor project progress and performance against the schedule, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
* Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure alignment on project timelines and deliverables.
* Identify and mitigate potential delays and risks, implementing corrective actions as necessary
Candidate
* Demonstrate planning experience gained within the UK rail industry
* Proficient in the use of Primavera P6 planning software
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Experience in resource loading and earned value management

* Starting salary of up to £70,000 per annum
