Our client, a dynamic and well-established organization, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing business and play a key role in supporting their finance function. This role is being recruited initially on a temporary basis, but there is the possibility for the role to become permanent in the future.
As the incoming Accounts Assistant, you will be tasked with the following duties
Raise internal invoices, liaise with internal stakeholders, reconcile monthly statements, and manage customer accounts in Sage.
Process purchase invoices, reconcile supplier statements, and manage Barclaycard statement imports.
Set up employees on Sage and WAP, and manage new nominal codes.
Run reports, assist with analysis, and support the Finance Manager and Business Partner with various tasks.
Take ownership of the fixed asset register and related journal postings once established.As the successful candidate, you will have the following set of skills/attributes:
Experience with Sage and financial reconciliation.
Experience working in a similar level role and keen to progress further
Strong organisational and communication skills.
