*Please note this is a hybrid-working role, with a requirement to work in the Chelmsford office c. 2 days a week, depending on business need.
Who are we?
The Essex Pension Fund is one of 86 pension funds which make up the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). The LGPS is the largest defined benefit pension scheme in England and Wales with a fund value of over £340 billion.
On its own, our Fund looks after 182,000 Scheme Members, over 800 Employers and is valued at over £11 billion, placing us within the top 10 LGPS funds in the country.
Here are some of the things you would be doing:
* Using a suite of Microsoft products, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
* Providing advice and guidance for Senior Leaders, Board/Committee Members on meetings and agendas
* Drafting of content and compiling reports/agenda items for all Boards/Committees
* Coordinating the Fund's input into corporate performance reporting
* Responsible for delivery of the Governance Policy and Compliance Statement
* Accountable for Fund's responsibilities on Freedom of Information Act

Someone who is an exceptional listener and minute taker with an extensive range of verbal and written skills to ensure effective explanatory communication of governance/compliance issues.
