* Salary: Up to £75,000 per annum
* Working Policy: Flexible hybrid-working policy, with a minimum of two days a week from our Chester head office.
* Reports to: Director of Strategy and Finance, UK Agency

About the Commercial Finance Manager role:
As the Commercial Finance Manager, you will help drive the commercial and strategic direction of the business to deliver future growth and value. Your role is pivotal in bringing an independent perspective focused on proactive and actionable commercial insights. You will challenge and support the business to ensure they are delivering value effectively and ultimately change commercial outcomes for the better across the Group.
Although this role is an 18-month fixed-term contract, 99.9% of top performers have successfully transitioned into permanent positions within the company.
Responsibilities:
* Business Oversight: Maintain a comprehensive and strategic overview of business performance, communicating risks and opportunities clearly and promptly to key stakeholders and driving changes that make a positive business impact.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead in the budgeting and forecasting process, testing business assumptions and securing stakeholder buy-in.
* Business Partnering: Manage a robust business partnering function, providing exceptional support, insight, and challenge across all departments.
* Project Evaluation: Oversee the evaluation of projects to ensure alignment with company strategy and prioritisation.
* Finance Coordination: Collaborate with other finance leaders to ensure an aligned and coordinated finance function.
* Market Monitoring: Continuously monitor the external market, providing insights into existing and potential new markets.
* Special Projects: Support the leadership team with ad-hoc special projects as required.

* Qualified accountant with extensive experience in Commercial Finance, Strategy, Corporate Development, or a similar role.
* Strong leadership qualities with an ability to effectively influence leaders across the business.
* Effective delegation and time management skills with an ability to focus to ensure you are making a meaningful positive impact on business outcomes.
* Exceptional logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Proactive attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Outstanding communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly.
* Strong commercial awareness and hands-on approach to finding solutions.
* Excellent time management and prioritisation skills, able to meet tight deadlines.
* Adaptable to change and challenges.
* Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.
