Role: HR Operations Manager
Salary: 60-65K
Location: London, Hybrid, 2 days in the office
We are currently recruiting for a People Operations Manager to join our client, to lead on all Operational People Activities and ensure a high standard of service delivery to all stakeholders across the business.
As People Operations Manager you will ensure the stability, continuity and accuracy of people data and related processes as the business continues to grow.
The role's scope includes, but is not limited to, payroll, reporting, benefits administration, policy development, and the facilitation of all operational lifecycle processes and as such successful candidates will need to demonstrate experience in these area’s.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in leading operational HR activities within commercially driven, fast-paced environments, including overseeing payroll processes and managing end-to-end payroll. Key responsibilities of this role include but will not be limited to;
-Ensure the smooth running and futureproofing of all people lifecycle processes;
-Work with business stakeholders to provide timely, accurate reporting of performance vs. -people KPIs
-Systems lead for the People function; ensuring use of the HRIS (People First) is optimised with a focus on creating streamlined, automated ways of working
-Oversee and ensure accuracy of monthly payroll cycle, in partnership with Finance colleagues and their supplier (Midland HR)
-Oversee rollout of Reward processes managed by the Reward Specialist; including annual salary review and bonus cycle, salary benchmarking and benefits windows
-Work with the Reward Specialist to review reward package to enable talent attraction and retention and drive the smooth administration and rollout of these
-Ensure People policies are updated in line with legislative changes and market developments
-Drive compliance inline with legal obligations around right to work, visas and immigration and gender pay reporting through ongoing audits and improvements
-Effective running of cyclical HR activities such as performance and reward cycles
-Robust management of external suppliers (Payroll, HRIS and benefits); ensuring a high quality, value for money service to our people
-Work to drive innovation and continuous improvement across People Operations; ensuring knowledge is captured and shared
-Ensure all activities and processes are scalable and are future-proofed to enable ambitious business growth plans
-Coach, mentor and build capability within the People Operations team and wider function
Please note, candidates with a CIPD qualification are preferred as an understanding of HR principles and practices such as employment law and the theory behind this is essential.
