Lead on NGPS's quality and clinical arrangements safety and risk management for NGPS GPs working in Urgent Care settings. Monitor and coordinate the investigation of adverse events occurring within Urgent Care settings for NGPS. Promote an open and fair culture for GPs to ensure that incident reporting is encouraged, and lessons are learnt, focusing on corrective solutions. Do clinical audits and promote evidence based best practice for GPs. Assist in the dissemination of patient safety related information through the monthly newsletter to GPs. Support and advise the Urgent Care Service Delivery Manager on recruitment, interviewing and setting compliance standards for GPs. To help set high expectations and standards for NGPS GPs to work towards striving to ensure that patients receiving care from an NGPS service can expect a high quality and safe experience. Work with the Urgent Care Service Delivery Manager to manage complaints, incidents, serious incidents and quality and safety, and embed learning across the service. Support external relationships with the Lead Clinical Director, including ICB, CQC, NuTH and any other collaborations with other organisations. Support Lead Clinical Director and Head of Clinical Services with relevant external insurance companies to manage litigations across GP related clinical areas. Work with NuTH to oversee Health and Safety compliance for GPs. Support the Urgent Care Service Delivery Manager to capture relevant content for the monthly newsletter to GPs, as well as disseminate new clinic processes and patient safety related information in a timely manner. Supporting the Lead Clinical Director with risk management and reporting to the Board. Proactively support service leads in identifying governance training needs for NGPS GPs. Be a Freedom to Speak up Champion, raising awareness about the importance of speaking up, listening up, supporting staff to raise concerns at the earliest opportunity. Responsible for ensuring timely notification of incidents to the organisations quality and governance team so that they can be reported to statutory bodies within statutory timescales. Collaborate on NGPS's patient experience arrangements and strengthen GP duties across all Urgent Care sites to ensure that the patients experience is at the heart of service delivery and development.
