This area forms a strategically significant part of Londons world city offer for financial, media and business services. We are recruiting for a Good Receiver to join theteam at Dorsett Canary Wharf. The Role As a Goods Receiver, you will work closely with the team to ensure that all incoming goods match the delivery notes and meet our quality standards. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work flexibly within a team are essential. In this role, you will play a crucial part in accurately receiving and recording all delivered items. Work Hour and Schedule 40 hours per week, 5 days per week, Monday to Saturday From 8am to 4:30pm Brief Responsibilities Receive, check and deliver all goods and deliveries in and out of the hotel, ensuring the goods are placed in the corresponding storage areas. Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock. Work closely with the various departments to ensure timely delivery of goods and alignment with their operational requirements. Maintain strict control over deliveries, including invoices, delivery notes, and product expiration dates, as well as regular stock counts. Support monthly and external stock audits. Perform daily spot checks of stock in storage areas and unoccupied rooms. Accurately record and promptly report all stock transfers to the Food & Beverage Manager and Hotel Manager. Comply with all Health & Safety regulations, especially those related to food and beverage handling. Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across all levels of the business. Exhibit excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload independently. Prior experience in receiving food, beverages, and consumables in a hospitality environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with MBT software is an advantage.
