The Senior Manager/ Associate Director, Agency Sales will build a breadth of agency client team relationships within WPP agencies, with specific responsibility for developing and driving PubMatic PMP adoption across Publicis agency group. They will work with current and prospective partners to fulfill their business needs and optimize their potential for our publishers. Candidates should possess strong sales skills and have experience in managing existing clients.
The candidate should strive to exceed revenue targets through active selling, account management, program implementation and managing terms and expectations for new and existing clients. He or she enjoys networking at industry functions, staying current on the latest programmatic trends, and proactively seeking out knowledge specific to the inner-workings of PubMatic’s technology. The role requires an ability to think creatively and collaborate with others in executing a sales strategy. The candidate would be required to effectively communicate at multiple levels from junior to senior decision makers, both internally and externally, globally. To be a leader in this environment will require the ability to quickly connect the dots between all functions and possess a deep understanding of PubMatic’s technology, service offerings, and capabilities.
Responsibilities:
* Define and execute PubMatic’s private marketplace strategy across client teams within Publicis agencies
* Service current relationships as well as growing PubMatic client base across Publicis to identify new sources of revenue
* Develop a strong understanding of PubMatic’s technology and media solutions from an intellectual and applied perspective; communicate the value proposition to drive business growth
* You will pitch, receive, understand and react to ‘deal’ briefs from buyers – you will develop and build auction packages that meet their requirements
* You will work with the strategy team to understand PubMatic – Publicis developed products, educating and increasing awareness and adoption of these products across WPP agencies
* You will work with product marketing to develop proactive promotion of either a targeted or broad range of packages
* You will work with the Client service and Deal Desk teams to develop an understanding of best practices to manage deals, accounts and reporting
* Travel and entertain as necessary in support of business objectives (prospect/client meetings, conferences, internal meetings)
* Attend industry events and conferences to network and grow your industry knowledge
* Instil a culture of collaboration and accountability

Requirements:
* 5 years plus of experience working with and selling digital advertising solutions into agencies holding companies, trading desks and DSPs
* Proven history of developing and executing a sales strategy
* Proven history of meeting and exceeding revenue goals
* Experience and contacts within Publicis
* Growth mindset: willing to take risks, ask questions, and even appear foolish in order to learn; not focused on status or authority
* Understand the dynamics of the sell-side, most notably operations of supply side platforms and ad serving tech
* Superb communicator and service-oriented leader
* Strong written, presentation and negotiation skills
* Ultra-high EQ
