Working within a bustling atmosphere as part of a passionate team, this role as a Welcome & Service Assistant plays a core part in providing excellent customer service.
Contract/duration: Permanent, starting in January 2025.
Hours/working pattern: 780 hours per year, averaging 15 hours per week. The role includes working at weekends & bank holidays. We expect you to work at least one shift most weekends, with weekends off on a rota basis. Hours are 9.30am – 5pm from April to October, and 9.30am – 4pm during the winter months.
Interviews: Interviews will take place on Wednesday 27 November or Wednesday 4 December.

Reporting to the Welcome Manager, you'll be part of a team at Winkworth Arboretum. Your role is to ensure visitors receive a perfect welcome, setting the stage for an amazing experience.
You’ll answer queries and ensure visitors can find everything they need. Understanding how and why we engage supporters is key. Working with our spirit of place, you’ll link our activities back to our cause and ongoing work.
You’ll maintain high standards of presentation at the property and ensure all communications are clear and consistent, from the website to signage around the property.
What you'll be doing:
Delivering a great all-round customer service experience daily. Answering queries and listening to visitors’ needs to share the right information. Making sure visitors have the best day possible. Your role is to ensure they feel welcomed, appreciated, and more engaged because of your service.
