Paragon Home Healthcare are looking to recruit a dedicated and driven Operations Manager to join our team overseeing the Coordination, Administration, and Recruitment teams. They will ensure a seamless delivery of services to our clients and best practices are implemented efficiently. Reporting into the Operations Director, this role is pivotal in maintaining high standards of quality assurance, staff management, stakeholder engagement, service delivery, business development, IT and administration, and regulatory compliance and safety. Key Responsibilities Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of Coordination, Administration, and Recruitment teams. Line management duties for Coordination, Administration, and Recruitment department managers. Implement and streamline operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor and report on operational performance metrics. Generate rota planning efficiencies with a forward planning rate of 12 weeks in advance for all service users. Establishing cross functional working relationship with Clinical team members and proactively managing any queries/requests on a daily basis. Quality Assurance: Ensure all services meet the highest quality standards. Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures. Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement. Staff Management: Lead, mentor, and develop team members to achieve their full potential. Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention strategies. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders. Act as the primary point of contact for resolving issues and addressing concerns. Foster a culture of collaboration and open communication. Service Delivery: Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to all service users. Monitor and evaluate service delivery to meet client needs and expectations. Implement and maintain care plans in coordination with healthcare professionals. Regulatory Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and legislation. This includes but is not limited to CQC compliance, Right to Work in the UK, GDPR etc. Develop and implement policies and procedures. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment. Out of Hours on-call escalation and management: Participate in the on-call rota for escalations. Ensure the rota is planned for in advance and holidays are accounted for. Qualifications and Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a healthcare or complex care setting. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards in the UK healthcare sector. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven track record in staff management and development. Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in IT systems and administrative processes. Knowledge of People Planner, Access Care Planning and Access Care Compliance is a must. Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management, or a related field (Desirable). Full UK driving licence and own vehicle (Desirable).
