Without the Research Office, studies would not open in an efficient and compliant way- meaning less opportunity for patients to access new treatments or for patients and staff to contribute to building knowledge and enhancing evidence-based care for the conditions that matter to them. Main duties of the job The office team supports the design, conduct, analysis and ongoing safety/quality management of investigator led clinical trials and studies, working in collaboration with other NHS Trusts as well as commercial and academic partners. This post will oversee the Portsmouth Research Office function, supporting the Research & Development Manager closely. The Research Manager provides operation oversight and leadership of the Research Office, leading on quality reporting both in terms of study progression and key performance indicators.
