Attendance and Admissions Officer - 27.5 hours/week, term time plus 2 weeks during school holidays - permanent

Danegrove Primary School is looking to recruit an Attendance and Admissions Officer to support the continual drive to improve attendance across all years from reception to Y6 plus support the admissions and administration processes at the school. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting attendance levels, including attention to detail in recording absences, ability to identify areas for improvement and used to being proactive in adopting measures for continual improvement in attendance. Further, their strong administrative skills will be key in managing the admissions process and also participating in the general administrative requirements of the school, as part of a small team.

Salary: Barnet Unified Pay Reward, Grade E, FTE £30,630 - £32,343/annum pro rata (April pay award pending).

* has previous experience of promoting improved attendance in school or similar setting
* has a desire for continual improvement in Attendance and support to the whole School
* can use their great communication skills to make sure that all interactions within the school community of pupils, parents and staff are clear, helpful and supportive
* has a desire to support the whole school in maintaining highly effective measures to support attendance and hence the best outcomes for every pupil
* has the ability to work in a team, demonstrate flexibility, commitment and an enthusiasm for working with children
* is a forward thinker with a positive can do attitude who is committed to the provision of high-quality education for all children
