Main duties of the job The Contract & Fees Management Assistant role is to support the Commercial Department with key commercial administration responsibilities as instructed by the Contracts Manager, Business Development Directors and Chief Commercial Office. The role will also be accountable for monitoring and responding to the Groups referral mailbox. Identifying new contract opportunities by tracking notification boards and assisting with contracts/bids from the expression of interest to submission and outcome stage as directed by the Contracts Manager, Business Development Director and Chief Commercial Officer Draft written responses drawing on previous submissions in the library, specifications, policy research and local research Ensure bid and tender documentation is properly formatted, collated, and presented in a professional and timely manner Proofread written documentation prior to submission Construct, write and submit tender and DPS responses within assigned timeframes, in line with commercial bid process. Fees Management Negotiate annual fee uplifts with CCGs, Local Authority and private clients. Communication with funders and continued following up as required. Discussion with service managers and other colleagues to help with costing and funder communication. Keep accurate and organised record of communication with funders and other regarding fees. Keep accurate record of any agreed fees and inform relevant colleagues to ensure accurate billing. Monthly/weekly reporting on progress to date and future fee increase projection. Help resolve discrepancies in expected fees and actual receipts. Assist with other income generating projects such as ad-hoc grant claims.
