Audit Manager Job Overview
* Plan and carry out audit assignments to a wide variety of clients
* Ensure the audit team is on track and completing audit work within the allocated timetable
* Communicate with clients regularly on the progress of the audit and meet with them to discuss audit-related matters
* Advise clients on areas of business improvements
* Maintain professional and technical knowledge in all areas
* Ensure accurate and timely billing and receipt
Audit Manager Job Requirements
* Suitable candidates will be fully ACCA/ACA qualified
* Experience carrying out audits - from planning through to completion
* Previous experience working in accountancy practice environments is essential
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* No requirement for visa sponsorship
* Driving license required in order to travel to clients' premises
This is an office-based role, so suitable candidates must have a reasonable commute to the Chester area.
Audit Manager Salary & Benefits
* £55,000-£60,000 basic salary (dependent on experience)
* 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
* 35 hours per week - flexibility on start and finish time
