Recruitment are delighted to be working on an exclusive opportunity for an Office and Events Administrator to join our client one of Europe's leading privately-owned food processors at their recently located new Head Office based in Birmingham. This is a prestigious building and alongside providing office accommodation for main board members and central support teams, also includes a facility to accommodate regular in house training, meeting and conference events for the division and the wider business. Role: Office and Events Administrator Salary: 25,000 to 27,000 Location: Birmingham Hours: 9 am to 5 pm Mon - Fri inc of 30 minute break - flexibility required when supporting events so potential for earlier start/later finish, with relevant time back accordingly Purpose of the role: You will provide an efficient and effective support for in house events taking place. You will provide and effective and efficient first point of contact for the business to both callers and visitors and your aim will be to ensure that the day to day demands for dealing with requests are fulfilled in a consistent and efficient manner. You will assist with Central Administration, across a variety of functions ensuring tasks undertaken align with best practice, working effectively with the business teams to meet their business objectives. Duties: Provide support at in house events to include room set up and layout as appropriate (space holds up to 100 people), meet and greet, providing refreshments, assisting caterers and returning the space to its' normal status Provide cover for Reception as and when required to meet the needs of the business Provide administrative support across key functions within the divisional Head Office using Microsoft suite and in house systems. You will have previous experience working within a similar role and possess excellent communication and organisational skills. You will have excellent attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise workload and quickly respond to the many challenges that may arise.
