About The Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Rugby on a full-time, temporary supply basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher looking to make a positive impact on students' learning in an engaging and dynamic environment.
As a Full-Time English Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality English lessons across key stages, fostering a love for literature and language, and helping students achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Teach English across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the national curriculum
* Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful learning atmosphere
* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school community
About You
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching English at a secondary level (KS3 and KS4)
* Strong knowledge of the English curriculum, including literature and language components
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Passionate about inspiring students and developing their love for English
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
