Main duties of the job The Clinical Nurse Specialist will be named key worker for patients and work with the team to ensure equity and accessibility supporting he best treatment for their individual diagnosis; offer holistic care, that is provided by Kent Oncology Centre at MTW. The Melanoma Clinical Nurse Specialist will support the delivery of melanoma research studies across the Trust as required. They will also be responsible for their own case load and this role required the professional to have the ability to work alone as well as in a team. You will work closely with and as part of, a multi-disciplinary team which includes Oncologists, Surgeons, Therapeutic Radiographers, community colleagues and administrative staff to ensure the delivery of a dynamic, seamless and compassionate service. You will support patients, their families and supporters to maximise their quality of life from the point of diagnosis throughout their cancer pathway.
