Job Description for Technical Customer Service:
We have an exciting opportunity to join a growing company who are the UK’s no’1 supplier within their field. They have rapidly grown since establishing 5 years ago, this opportunity is to join their customer services team. You will gain a technical knowledge of their products and support customers through their sales journey. This position is full time Monday-Friday 8am-4pm in the office. The ideal candidate would have been in a role which required a technical knowledge previously and have experience within a customer service role.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert technical advice and troubleshooting support to customers via email and online chat platforms regarding products.
2. Assist customers in selecting the right products based on their specific needs and applications.
3. Actively participate in online forums and groups to answer questions, provide technical insights, and foster a positive brand image.
4. Analyse and interpret technical data and documents.
5. Resolve customer inquiries efficiently and accurately, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
6. Create and maintain detailed records of customer interactions on database.
7. Adhere to established company policies and procedures.
Skills and experience required:
8. A background within a customer service role, technical sales support, IT helpdesk or coordinator role required.
9. Ability to commute to workplace(must drive due to location)
10. Confident and competent with Microsoft packages.
11. Excellent communication skills- both written and verbal.
