Role Overview As an SEN Teacher, you will create and deliver tailored lessons, adapting learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student. You will work closely with the SEN team, supporting students with varying needs to foster a positive, inclusive classroom experience. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience working with SEN students, ideally within a school setting. Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and curriculum. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
