The Role:
As a Graduate EIA Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of Environmental Impact Assessments and related environmental services. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining exposure to a diverse range of projects across sectors such as energy, transport, water, and urban development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting in the coordination and preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and Environmental Statements (ES) for major projects.
* Conducting research, site visits, and baseline environmental assessments.
* Supporting stakeholder engagement and consultation processes.
* Assisting in the preparation of technical reports and environmental documentation.
* Working collaboratively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
* Keeping up to date with environmental legislation and best practices.
Requirements:
* A degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Geography, or a related field.
* A strong understanding of EIA principles, UK environmental legislation, and planning policy.
* Excellent analytical, research, and report-writing skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks.
* Some experience (e.g., through internships, university projects, or placements) in EIA or environmental consultancy is desirable but not essential.
