Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Respiratory Nurse to join our Nursing Team at Belvidere Medical Practice. The position has become available due to retirement and we are looking for a candidate to work 8 hours per week. Main duties of the job The post holder will assess, diagnose and review patients who have respiratory conditions providing the appropriate treatment, care planning and self help information as appropriate. Experience in chronic disease management and asthma/COPD is essential. About us Belvidere Medical Practice is based in Shrewsbury caring for 6800 patients. Our team consists of 2 GP partners, 3 salaried GPs, a clinical pharmacist, a team of 3 practice nurses supported by an HCA. We are supported by an experienced management team and an amazing administrative/reception team. We are part of the Shrewsbury PCN and we benefit from a multidisciplinary team of clinical pharmacists, first contact practitioners, paramedics, social prescribers, care co-ordinators.
