We are looking to appoint a Student Mental Health Worker to join the Wellbeing team to support students with mental health problems, providing one-to-one therapeutic and psychoeducational interventions and support aimed at reducing the impact of their mental health problems.
As a Student Mental Health Worker, you will be an experienced mental health professional who is adept at managing a complex caseload and is highly organised and motivated. You will be comfortable both working autonomously and as part of a team, with strong communication skills.
The successful candidate will hold:
1. Level 2 maths and English or the equivalent e.g. GCSE grade C or above, GCSE grade 4 or above.
You should also have recent and relevant experience of working within a mental health context, an awareness of a diverse range of mental health conditions, and experience working with young people aged 16 – 18.
The role requires you to work flexibly across each of our campuses.
