The successful candidate will have a highly specialised clinical role within the service and shared responsibility (with the Service manager and other senior staff) for service development, training and staff development and maintaining high standards of clinical practice within the team. You will have excellent acute and chronic respiratory skills in order to support and lead junior staff in the flexible, innovative and fast growing service. Applicants must be educated at least to degree level and have recognised qualifications and/or experience in management of chronic respiratory disease. Evidence of leadership, multidisciplinary working and involvement in education and supervision of less experienced staff is expected. The ability to complete home visits is essential. You will work with the service lead to update policies, protocols and continually improve the quality of care provided by the service to meet the demands of the community.
