Reporting to the Operational Support Manager, you will have a keen interest in Equipment within the Warehouse and be able to adapt quickly to changes within the Environment you work in. In this role, you will manage a Team of 10-15 who work across 9 sites (locally). You will also be willing/responsible for overseeing Teams within the RSC network. Responsibilities Manage a Team across several sites prioritising the workload of the Team accordingly Site visits for Floorwalks and meetings with all levels of the business You and your Team are responsible for managing the Trajectory system for all handsets across sites Manage COMM05 budget for Elmsall Complex You and your Team are responsible for over £2 million Handset kit for all sites this includes setting them up and offering remote support if necessary and dispatching these out to relevant sites as per business requirements Manage daily consumables count on Despatch Mange twice weekly counts of all courier sacks across Elmsall Complex then liaise with commercial about deliveries Manage monthly audits on Packfloor, Automation, Bay Buffer and Racking inspections Manage the Equipment and Environment thread on Yapster E1/E2 and E3 thread separately Manage my Team’s workloads/ any projects they are supporting with not just at Elmsall but across several sites Liaise with Zebra for Handsets we can't fix on site Liaise with Pallet truck services and Norseman for trolley fixes Manage PAT testing with requests across the Network for new items that come in/any that are missed by the Company who come in once per year Manage the Installation of signage across all the local sites Manage Highbay Honeywell portal and all the kit Meet with third parties about new products/current products google meet and in person Liaise with all grades of the business in the various group chats we have Work with third party Britannia with E3 cleaning all requests that come through go through us Oversee Hygiene Standards Coordinators Skills Good interpersonal skills Be able to work simple Google Packages (similar to Microsoft packages) Be flexible as we are a 24/7 Operation sometimes we may require you to start early to see night shift Managers Can meet tight deadlines is a must Be adaptable Experience A previous role in warehousing operations would be beneficial Interest in equipment valuable A background in exposure to health & safety would be beneficial About Us You know Next, but did you know we’re a FTSE-100 retail company employing over 35,000 people across the UK and Ireland.
