Brand new role as Senior HR Business Partner, based in Peterborough – a market leading organisation powered by a passionate team. We are looking to recruit a Senior HR Business Partner to help to establish “an outstanding place to work, to grow and to achieve great things”. You’ll work alongside the MD, the leadership team and people across the business to make this a reality. As Senior HR Business Partner you will be:
1. Translating process and policy into easy to use how to’s to empower line managers to manage.
2. Identifying development needs across the managers within the organisation and developing tactical skills development strategies to support specific needs at different managerial levels.
3. A champion for personal growth for everyone; supporting line managers to have meaningful conversations with their teams about capability and career development.
4. Creating a people first environment designed to deliver a great place to work, engaging regularly with the workforce to understand challenges, difficulties and needs, and responding accordingly.
5. Working with the SLT contributing to business strategy, producing key people metrics designed to support data driven decision making.
6. Advising heads of and department managers on all things ER – where possible enabling them to deliver the difficult conversations but operating as escalated expert resource, and where necessary taking ownership of anything high risk or complex.
7. Managing and developing the people team comprising two HR Advisors, and the L&D Manager and Training Exec.
8. Managing the outsourced payroll process ensuring the supplier performs to agreed service levels.
You will not only be informing, devising and delivering strategy – the vertical nature of the role demands you are equally comfortable in a transactional role. You will be direct, expert, prepared to challenge, and creative to a point. You must be able to effortlessly build trust and engagement across a challenging SLT, and be available and relevant to the broader workforce. Benefits are generous and include: Salary 65k - 75k depending on experience, Bonus, pension, 30 days holiday (plus BHs), medical insurance, income protection, wellbeing allowance.
