The Account Manager is to find business opportunities and manage customer relationships. You’ll be directly responsible for the preservation and expansion of our customer base. The ideal candidate will be experienced in sales and customer service. We expect you to be a reliable professional, able to balance customer orientation and a results-driven approach. You’ll help generate new business opportunities by identifying leads and converting them into qualified leads and opportunities through targeted marketing campaigns. Your overarching goal is to identify opportunities with prospects and new clients and build them into long-term profitable relationships. Employment type: Full-time Work Schedule: Hybrid, in-office Tues - Thursday (up to 25% travel) Visa Sponsorship: Not available Responsibilities: Achieve growth and hit sales targets Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base Contribute to growing partnerships Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs Present sales, revenue, and expense reports and realistic forecasts Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status Present products to prospective clients Provide professional after-sales support to maximize customer loyalty Able to cultivate your own account list Generate business through proactive outreach to new customers via cold calling, social networking, and strategic email campaigning. Work closely with Marketing and Sales Teams to implement targeted sales and marketing efforts and campaigns. Diligently update Salesforce and Outreach to stay current on leads and follow-up activities Qualify leads and schedule introductory meetings with prospects and Business Development Manager or Sales Engineer. Supervise and support the team to ensure client satisfaction Generate innovative ideas to support customers and boost brand awareness Use client feedback to improve customer experience Report on sales results on a regular basis and suggest improvements Stay up-to-date with product launches and provide support to clients and the sales team Organize meetings with the sales team to ensure all members are on board and deliver within deadlines Requirements 5 years of experience in SaaS/Cloud Computing Sales Comfortable with picking up the phone and cold calling Professional services or consulting sales experience required Experience with a CRM, preferably Salesforce Lightning and Engage Outreach experience a plus Experience reaching and exceeding goals. Understanding of the entire suite of Google Cloud products. (Preferred) Ability to work in a high-energy sales team environment as a team player. A natural leader with positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, and strong writing skills. Excellent strategic and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to plan, pitch, and execute a sales strategy.
