About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and engaging Payroll Manager with strong knowledge and experience of managing and delivering a payroll service with a key focus on customer service and business improvement and will have strong knowledge and appreciation of complex payroll processing environments.
The Payroll Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the payroll function including pensions and systems. Reporting to the Head of Financial Control, the post holder will lead the payroll team including line management of up to 4 staff, to ensure all statutory duties and obligations associated with the above i.e. Pension, Tax and NI are met and paid in an accurate and timely manner. Keeping ahead of legislation changes, they will have insight into best practice and able to suggest further efficiencies in the team and provide support to the wider business.
The successful candidate will be forward thinking, have experience of leading a payroll system implementation, strong customer focus and will be able to work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues across the business and key external stakeholders.
