Job Description

Do you have experience in Science, Engineering, or a Technical Discipline - or have Electrical based experience from an apprenticeship or site maintenance?

You’ll install and service chemical feed and water treatment equipment at designated locations.
1. Acting as the local technical consultant and liaison with customer management and customer representatives at site.
2. Providing service and support to prescribed customer sites.
3. Coordinating functions with Area Field Services Lead/Management/Senior FSRs.
4. Performing water analysis and/or collecting samples for preparation, labeling and shipment to designated laboratory for analysis.
5. Completing and distributing on-site reports based on any work carried out at site.
6. Troubleshooting and repairing pumps, instruments and control panels.
7. Calibrating feed pumps, conductivity sensors, flow sensors and pH sensors.
8. Conducting preventative maintenance on water treatment plant, chemical feed pumps, controllers and instrumentation.
9. Keeping maintenance records up to date for sites.
10. Maintaining inventory of spare parts (lube oil, tubing, piping, etc.), and adequate supply of reagents, sample containers, and shipment containers necessary for routine as well as special sampling and analysis.
11. Relaying customer feedback to Field Services, Commercial and/or Technical Department.
12. Recommending appropriate site procedural and/or policy changes that will help overall effectiveness.
13. You will be flexible in role and can support sites at distributed geographic locations within region.
14. Traveling to and providing support to/operating Mobile projects if/when necessary.
15. Remaining on call-out duty if and when required as prescribed by the UKIN team call out schedules (normally 1 week every 4-5 weeks).
16. Conducting training of customers and other personnel to enable them to operate prescribed BOO/Mobile equipment safely and effectively when FSR is not on site.
17. Conducting training of company trainees in the various site technical functions encompassed by the position of Field Service Representative.
Qualifications
You'll have:
1. Qualifications in a suitable Science, Engineering or technical discipline preferred or equivalent or have Electrical based experience from apprenticeships or site experience of maintenance.
2. Water treatment equipment operation/Maintenance.
3. Mechanical maintenance experience.
4. Full UK driving licence.
