This is a hands-on role where you’ll work within the Body in White (BIW) Assembly / Sheet Metal Department, shaping, fitting and assembling aluminium body panels with exceptional attention to detail. Your responsibilities as a Sheet Metal Bodywork Specialist: Handcraft and shape aluminium body panels using traditional and modern techniques. Fit and align panels with precision, ensuring correct gapping and body lines. Perform high-quality TIG welding on aluminium body components. Prepare assembled bodies and panels for paint and final finishing. Work closely with a skilled team in a hands-on, heritage-driven production environment. Your current experience which will help you as a Sheet Metal Bodywork Specialist: Experience in classic car restoration, accident repair, panel beating or automotive fabrication. Skilled in metal shaping, bodywork finishing and precision alignment. Strong TIG welding ability with aluminium. Able to work with both hand-formed and pre-formed panels. Understanding of metal properties, craftsmanship techniques and coachbuilding. Passionate about heritage manufacturing and high-end automotive engineering.
