By building a structurally effective team, building close relationships with the board of Directors and striving to develop and improve the Eastern division's land bank and development opportunities within the market, this will enable the successful candidate to maximise business opportunities and growth for your division. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be collaboratively working towards the common goal in managing expectations on delivery and deadlines in order to achieve realistic production targets. Purpose of the role: To lead the Commercial teams for all aspects of the reporting on surveying, buying and estimating for land acquisition, development and pre construction through to the completion and hand over of completed sites. Drive standards of operating, collaborating and innovation in the pre-construction, development and commercial teams to deliver maximum profit generation on current and future projects Focus on building robust scope and cost plans for all investigations to educate our initial bid process working with land and development Leading the business plans for each new site, you will be leading on all release schedules, procurement processes with a robust understanding of the sales market and cost inflation over the life of the project. The Suitable Candidate will be able to demonstrate: New Homes Development background to an Executive/Director level with a mixture of Surveying/Estimating/Buying experience Complex project management of multi-phase developments and managing multiple projects Strong Leadership qualities, demonstrating an ability to motivate and lead your teams Highly skilled in implementing new processes, procedures, structures Leads by example with a focus on developing and supporting staff to maximise their potential and strengths Practicing knowledge of the geographical New Homes Development market Performance management of all site, technical and commercial Flexible, adaptable and able to manage fluctuating workloads Strong influential, persuasion and negotiation skills Passion, drive and enthusiasm for delivering outstanding quality homes A real focus on delivering bespoke, tailored, unique design and construction Strong team player with a focus on driving both team and site performance The Company Crest Nicholson is a leading developer of quality homes and thriving, sustainable communities.
