Our client is looking to recruit an M&E Site Manager to oversee the daily activity on a Mechanical and Electrical installation and refurbishment project on a large scale estate in the Accrington area. The role is a contract position circa 6-8 weeks (may be continuation). Paying 24/hr PAYE - 30/hr CIS 40 hours per week Responsibilities: • Oversea daily site operations and project planning - Mechanical and Electrical building services • Supervise and oversea in house and sub-contracting engineers on site • Good understanding of design and project risks. Identify, manage and escalate risks where necessary. • Be able to contribute and manage against the sequence of works for the project programme. • Ability to drive the project programme, ensuring key milestones are maintained. Ability to foresee potential points of failure and react accordingly. • Prepare and present regular progress reports including programme drop lines to project stakeholders. • Understanding the importance of the development and submission of RFI’s, TQ’s and driving close out of items raised. • Ability to make sound business decisions under pressure. • Excellent time management, ability to delegate, prioritise key tasks and workload when working to strict deadlines. • Lead by example, promote the highest of standards with regards to HSEQ best practice, ensuring compliance with company standards, policies, ISO accreditations and legislative requirements in all instances.
