You will be a qualified psychotherapist with current registration with the ACP professional body. You will hold a caseload of young people with complex mental health needs and will take responsibility for providing assessments and therapeutic treatment programmes. Person Specification Qualifications Essential Professional knowledge acquired through degree supplemented by diploma level specialist training, management qualification or equivalent and experience Relevant qualification or significant experience in relevant clinical children's field, Maintenance of ACP registration. Knowledge and skills Essential Understanding of child development and family functioning Knowledge of the range of young people's mental health problems and mental health services Working knowledge of health, social services, education and the voluntary sector, together with the relevant legislation regarding both children and mental health Knowledge of key policy and guidance relating to Children and young people.
