Buildings Maintenance Compliance Officer
Location: Gloucestershire
Salary: £26,000
Please note, you must have your own transport for this role.
My client is recruiting for a skilled Buildings Maintenance Compliance Officer to join their busy Site Services Team.
With previous experience of working within an Estates or Facilities team, you will use your technical knowledge to monitor compliance status, conducting the necessary audits to ensure that we are adhering to all relevant regulations across our sites in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, and South Wales. You should have access to transport to travel between sites if necessary.
With a positive and proactive approach to your work, you will use your knowledge of Health and Safety and risk assessments to work with our site services team to ensure that compliance checks are completed and any issues are resolved. This will include ensuring that both you and the maintenance team have the relevant training, skills, and equipment to perform these tasks in line with Health and Safety regulations.
You will also help us manage our relationships with a wide range of contractors, ensuring pre-selection checks, permits to work, site induction, safeguarding, and health and safety procedures are followed. Overseeing our planned maintenance schedule will be a key aspect of your job.
This is a full-time role working 37 hours a week, mostly Monday to Friday, but you must be willing to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends, as required, and provide extra support for special events.
