Opportunity Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our HR function and contributing to the delivery of our ambitious people objectives. Duties Assist the Head of Human Resources in the delivery of the strategic objectives of the MiAlgae people plan. Act as the first point of contact for all HR-related matters, escalating more complex issues where necessary. Support end-to-end recruitment processes including posting vacancies, scheduling interviews, and coordinating onboarding activities. Handle day-to-day HR administration, including maintaining employee records and managing documentation for onboarding and offboarding. Assist in the review and maintenance of company policies, procedures, and the staff handbook to ensure compliance with current employment legislation and best practices. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees in applying these policies and procedures. Provide administrative support for payroll processes. Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation. Assist in the development and implementation of HR projects and initiatives. Coordinate and support the delivery of employee engagement initiatives and training sessions. Support the management of employee relations casework. Assist with the administration and coordination of Graduate and Apprenticeship schemes. About You We are looking for a proactive and organised individual with a passion for HR and supporting people. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their HR Career in a supportive and fast-paced environment. You will be a self-motivated individual who works effectively under their own autonomy, as well as within a team. Experience: Proven administrative experience, preferably within a Human Resources environment Basic knowledge of HR practices and employment law. e.g., recruitment and selection, absence, recording, training and development, employee relations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills. Proactive and detail-orientated with a can-do attitude. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion. Familiarity with HR systems is a plus.
