As a Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative engineering solutions for high-profile construction projects across the UK. Please note, our client does not have the relevant sponsorship license - Therefor we cannot accept any applications from those requiring visa sponsorship The successful Design Engineer will be responsible for: Producing detailed engineering designs from tender appraisal through to construction issue, ensuring compliance with architectural requirements and site evaluations. Investigating technical challenges and provide economical, viable solutions in collaboration with senior engineers. Working closely within a team, contributing to member design, connection design, and temporary works, while also assisting in the development of standardised procedures for structural solutions. Participating in the structural design phase during tenders, actively contributing to high-value projects, including sports stadia, innovative bridges, and national infrastructure. Supporting the implementation of innovative practices and methods to enhance engineering efficiency and project delivery. The successful Design Engineer will have: A degree in Structural Engineering or a related discipline. Strong understanding of structural design principles and practices within the construction industry. Proficient in engineering software and tools for design and analysis. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively liaise with colleagues and stakeholders. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
