Occupational Health Advisor Derby Onsite Full Time

Position Overview
As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will provide expert, evidence-based support in case management, health assessments, and overall occupational health. This is a full-time, onsite position from Monday to Friday, with core hours from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm at a Derby location.
Key Responsibilities
1. Case Management: Deliver evidence-based guidance on attendance, work fitness, and health management requests.
2. Report Preparation: Generate professional, thorough reports with clear recommendations.
3. Health Surveillance: Conduct medical screenings and health surveillance (including spirometry, audiometry, drug, and alcohol testing) according to industry best practices.
4. Occupational Health Services: Provide additional OH services as needed, such as vaccinations, ergonomic advice, and health promotion.
5. Team Collaboration: Offer clinical supervision and guidance to team members like OH Technicians.
6. Professional Growth: Maintain up-to-date NMC registration and commit to ongoing learning and development.
Skills & Qualifications
1. Registered Nurse (Part 1) with current NMC registration.
2. Occupational Health Degree or Diploma preferred.
3. Proficient in key OH services, including spirometry, audiometry, case management, and medical screening.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
5. Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and IT literacy.
6. A proactive and adaptable approach, with a visible dedication to delivering excellence in OH services.
Education & Certifications
1. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Occupational Health.
2. Valid NMC Registration and Occupational Health Diploma (if applicable).
Salary & Benefits
1. Salary: £43,000 - £45,000 per annum.
2. Pension: Contributory scheme up to 6%.
