The school needs a youth mental health support worker to assist their students in day-to-day activities. The students are between the ages of 4 and 16, each with a personalised educational and health care plan and individual intervention plans designed to help them thrive. As a youth mental health worker, you will ensure that they complete their academic work while navigating their emotions and learning functional life skills to promote independence.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver specific interventions tailored to students' needs and goals.
* De-escalate meltdowns and manage challenging behavior.
* Assist children in working through their emotions.
* Create a safe and engaging learning environment.
