Contract: Fixed-Term contract for 12 months
Hours: Frequency 1:50; Category A - 3% on call supplement (pro-rata)

Qualifications needed:
* Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
* CCT or equivalent
* Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it
* Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it
* Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST

We are currently recruiting to an Adult Consultant Psychiatrist position in the Adult Autism Service, based at The Broad Street Centre, Morland Road, Dagenham, RM10 9HU.
This is a new, fixed-term for 12 months, part-time post - 8 Programmed Activities (PAs) post with 5.5 Direct Clinical Contact activities (DCC) and 2.5 Supporting Professional Activities (SPAs).
The post holder will work alongside a comprehensive multidisciplinary team and provide care to adult residents across our London Boroughs (Barking and Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge, and Waltham Forest).
Job responsibilities:
You will be expected to:
* Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to adult people with mental health needs, especially Autism Spectrum Disorder
* Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
* Work directly with adults and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external adult mental health providers and acute hospitals
* Participate in the on-call rota (frequency is currently 1:50, with a 3% of basic salary, Category A on-call supplement)
* Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member while allowing them to work with their own initiative
* Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies

Salary: £105,504 to £139,882 a year per annum pro rata
